Swanna Girl

Swanna Girl is a character that first appeared in the same episode where Serena cuts her hair. She has become an in-joke of sorts in the places I used to hang out in since she is always seen losing spectacularly and never achieving the heights the other background Pokemon Performers achieved. She doesn't even appear in the Master Class. She is a nameless voiceless character with a great design. She is endearing because one feels like she is a real person with her own story and struggle to tell beyond the protagonist, with her trying her best to wow the dodges, sighing or crying after losing. It is like this with many of the background characters in the XY/Z anime, one of my favorite aspects of that show from long ago.

I chose her beyond every other "obscure" character that was suggested, since I am familiar with her design and colors, and since I already drew Nene I figured that I might as well draw other Pokemon Performers.

All of these outfits are "pseudo-canon". That is they appear only slightly in the episodes where they are first seen but not wholly and are subject to artistic liberties. Even her Tripokalon outfit is unclear as her ribbon/cravat was shown both being light blue like her hair scrunchies/skirt and dark blue (when she was crying after losing). I chose to give her the blue ribbon to make her outfit pop out and later applied it to her casual/lass outfit.
