Perhaps the single most "poignant" scene in the entire Pokemon series. Serena cuts her hair as a sign of renewed strength after losing her first Tripokalon and shortly afterwards dons her new outfit with Satoshi's blue ribbon as its most important point. A new day breaks for Serena at that moment, with Satoshi near her heart.

You can think of this image as something that immediately happens after she cut her hair and before the scene with Yashio. Nothing lewd about this one, except perhaps the full version.

If you're wondering why I didn't draw this back then when that episode first aired, it's because I wasn't really comfortable with drawing humans. Perhaps it was Serena's presence that spurred me to do so? as she does so for Satoshi and vice-versa.

The new trailer for Sun and Moon games was a real bummer, huh? And is a good reason why their both here in this image.
