Lore:
The illustration is taken from the climax of the now-famous Touma vs. Accelerator battle (a scene adapted three times). In the novels, Accelerator just used his vector powers to control the wind and blow away Touma as well the switchyard after having his pounded by Touma previously.

This is the famous scene where Accelerator begins using his vector powers to create a plasma ball while Touma is unconscious.

About the work:
One of the color jobs that I tried to do after getting severely ill several days prior. Got frustrated with what to do with Accelerator's color.

After doing the Mikoto and Kuroko one I tried my hand in doing this again. Here, it features some of my usual styles, but added that grungy feel similar to that one Laura Stuart and Index piece.

The reason being, is that I saw one of Huke's (creator of Black Rock Shooter) video's whilst making a highly complex art in only a few layers, one of them was a layer consisting of a rusted metal. Which gave me the idea of at least implementing that thing here.

This was done as celebration for Volume 3 finally being finished translating. Godspeed translators.

With the novels finally finished it's translation, this would be the second to the last Novel Illustration I would most likely do.
